"Henry D. Hobart

LAKE CRYSTALl - Memorial services for Henry D. Hobart, 72, Lake Crystal, who died at his home Friday, will be at 4 p.m. Sunday at the First United Methodist Church, Lake Crystal, the Rev. Stanley Propp officiating. Burial will be in the Lake Crystal Cemetery. There will be no visitation or reviewal. The James Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Hobart was born Feb. 28, 1908, to Louis and Lucy Hobart, in Judson Township, Blue Earth County. He married Virginia Hellekson, April 10, 1943, in Butternut. He served in the U.S. Army in World War II. He worked for Land O'Lakes Co., and was a custodian at Mankato State University for several years, retiring in 1973. He was a member of the First United Methodist Church, Lake Crystal; the Lakeland Choralaires; John Roth Americal Legion Post 294; Masonic Lodge 103; and Order of the Eastern Star, Fern Chapter.

Mr. Hobart is survived by his wife, Virginia; two sons, Ronald and Robert, both of Lake Crystal; a grandson, Seth Andrew; and a sister, Margaret Hobart, Mankato."
