CORBIN (Daniel, Daniel Elijah, Clement, James, Clement), b. Sep 24, 1843; m. Sarah E. Stearns, May 21, 1868, at Amity. She was b. Nov 3, 1849, at Amity, N.Y., the dau. of Chauncy and Keturah Stearns. He was a soldier, enlisting Nov 7, 1861 in Co. C, 85th , New York S.V.; re-enlisted Jan 1, 1864; captured at Plymouth, NC, April 20, 1864, and was confined at Andersonville, GA., and Florence, NC. where his weight diminished from 180 to 90 pounds. Is now a farmer at Amity. The first eight children were b. at Friendship and the rest at Amity, N.Y.
