OBITUARY (Newspaper; no title or date)

"Service arrangements are pending for Joseph J. Stephens, a former St. Joseph resident who died Tuesday at Bay Pines, Florida.

A retired auto and aircraft mechanic, Mr. Stephens, 94, owned and operated garages in both St. Joseph and Agency, before moving to Florida 15 years ago. He was one of the first mechanics for the Dodge Motor Company.

Mr. Stephens was a member of the Christian Church. He was an active musician and a veteran of the Spanish-American War.

Preceded in death by his wife, Mrs. Ada Beam Stephens, he is survived by two grandchildren.

The body is at the Heaton-Bowman Smith and Sidenfaden Mortuary.
Services for Joseph F. Stephens, 94, will be at 11 Saturday morning at the Heaton-Bowman Smith and Sidenfaden Chapel. The Rev. Eugene Albright will officiate and burial will be in the Agency Cemetery.

Mr. Stephens, a former St. Joseph resident, died Tuesday at Bay Pines Florida. He was a retired mechanic and former owner of garages in St. Joseph and Agency.

The body will arrive late Friday afternoon at the mortuary."
