Jan. 26, 1828, in Willington; m. May A. Beckley, April 22, 1852. She was b. June 6, 1833, and d. Nov. 3, 1901.

He began in 1848, with his older brother Philip, the hardware manufacturing business in New Britain which afterwards developed into such great proportions, under the firm name of P. & F. CORBIN (* See the souvenir volume of P. & F. CORBIN, published in February, 1904.) After 1853 Frank CORBIN spent much time on the road as selling agent. He had charge of the New York sales office. In 1860 he gave up his connection with the company to embark in the plumbers' supply business. He went west about 1883 and devoted his attention to the development of mines in Arizona and California during the rest of his life, crossing the continent nine times during that period. He d. at Sonora, California, March 3,1901. He was a man of generous impulse, making friends wherever he sent. The cordiality of his manner and his genial nature made him loved by his employees and business acquaintances and welcomed wherever he went."
