Hij volgt zijn vader op als directeur van Boekbinderij Delcour. De boekbinderij verhuist in 1938 naar de Koninginneweg 83, hoewel een krantebericht in Het Volk van 12-12-1939 vermeldt dat de vergunning is verleend per 8-12-1939. In de jaren 50 laat Chris het pand in de Zeverijnstraat bouwen.

Hij overlijdt op de Diependaalselaan in Hilversum.
