- volgens het testament van Sara Lespinasse schonk zij aan "haar broeder Jean Lespinasse een vierde part in een huis en erve staande en geleegen tot Suriname aan haar testatrice toebehoorende". Deze Jean komt niet voor in het Kerkboek van Suriname waar wel de andere kinderen uit deze relatie staan genoemd [m.u.v. François jr]. Mogelijk kwam hij uit een andere relatie van François sr.
