urk. 1333-1378, 1375 "der Ältere", Knappe, Vogt bis 1347, 1333 wird Johann mit seinem Bruder Alverich erwähnt, 1347 gelobt er mit weiteren 250 Gewappneten den Herzögen Otto und Wilhelm von Braunschweig und Lüneburg zu dienen, 1366 versprechen ihm die Bremer Wiedergutmachung eines Schadens, 1368 bürgt Johann für den Knappen Johann de Scribbere, 1370 hat er zusammen mit seinen Brüdern 3 Hufen in Kirchweyhe und einen Hof in Ahusen, 1371 ist er einer der Treuhänder der Heinrich von Issendorff bei der Erpfändung des Schlosses Rethem, 1375 wird er Johann der Ältere genannt. Er bestätigt, von den Herzögen Wenzlaus und Albrecht von Sachsen Schadensersatz für die Gefangennahme des Johann d. Jüngeren (seinem Sohn) erhalten zu haben, 1378 hat er Anteil an Schloß und Börde Bederkesa
