urk. 1376-1417, 1419 tot, zu ihrem Namen kam Quade Foelke (quade = niederdeutsch für "böse") 1397 durch das wohl bekannteste - und auch literarisch verarbeitete - Familiendrama der ostfriesischen Geschichte: Der Sohn des Erbauers der Norderburg Lütet erschlug - angeblich auf Anraten seiner Schwiegermutter - seine Gemahlin Ocka wegen angeblicher Untreue und Aufsässigkeit. Daraufhin zeigte sich die Schwiegermutter Foelke Kampana, Ehefrau des Häuptlings Ocko I. tom Brok, von ihrer starken Seite und übernahm kurzerhand die Burg. Sowohl Lütet als auch sein Vater wurden auf Befehl der Schwiegermutter enthauptet.
