Notes about Nicolaus Theissen

Nachkommen nennen sich später "Lindenboom", war zuerst als Pächter auf der Plaatze 72, Mittelkanal l. 103 a, dann erwarb er um 1771 die Plaatze 97 b, Umländerwiekr. 14, und später mit seinem Sohn Conrad einen Teil der Plaatze 80, Mittelkanal li. 118. Nicolaus Theihsen, auch Claes Thyas oder Teesen genannt, war unter dieser Plaatze 80 b im Verm. - Verz. von 1778 unter "E" welche Schulden, dennoch Solvendo eingestuft. Seine Plaatze hatte 1780 folgende Größe: " 1/2 Kuhweide auf dem Platz, 1 Virup Infall und 3 Virup wüsten Grund". Da zu dieser Zeit noch kein Haus angegeben wurde, ist anzunehmen, daß sein Sohn dort erst ein Haus erbaute. "Claes Thyas" war 1762 bereits zur Hälfte an einem Muttschiff von 10 Lasten beteiligt. 1775 und 1776 hatte er ein eigenes Muttschiff. "Claes Thyas" oder auch Theihsen genannt lag in finanzieller Hinsicht über dem Durchschnitt; er war im Verm. - Verz. von 1778 "D" welche ohne Schulden eingetragen. 1780 gehörte zu seiner Plaatze: "1 Haus, 1 Garten, 1 1/2 Kuhweiden beim Haus, 1/4 Virup Infall und 5 Virup wüstes Land"
