    Willem Beekman koopt op 13 mei 1713 huijs en schuijre met den aankleve van dien van Dr. Barthold Schomaker en Aleida Geertruijt Marienburgh ehelieden. Opnieuw blijkt dat een zeer voorname Lochemse familie dit huis, Bierstraat 10, heeft bewoond.

    Dr. Barthold Schomaker was een zoon van Goossen Schomaker, burgemeester van Lochem in de jaren 1681-1702. Barthold had het Atheneum in Deventer gevolgd en had gestudeerd aan de universiteit van Leiden.
    Hij was secretaris van de stad Lochem in de jaren 1681-1704 en is daarna waarschijnlijk naar Deventer verhuisd alwaar hij gemeensman en grootburger is geworden. Hij is overleden en begraven in Deventer in het jaar 1721.
    Aangezien Barthold enig zoon was van Goossen is het niet uitgesloten dat deze laatste tot zijn dood in 1702 eveneens in Bierstraat 10 heeft gewoond.
