Notes about Petrus Sinnaeve

- In the 1700's the spelling was Synnaeve. On the 1747 census it wasSijnaeve.
- No registration was found proving that Petrus (abt.1699 - 1779) wasson of Petrus and Maria Dejaeghere;
But ... from a birth registration from the son Petrus Jacobus Sinnaeveseames that Petrus (abt.1660 - 1725), father of Petrus Sinnaeve(grandfather of Pieter Jacobus) already died before and so thegrandmother (Maria Dejaeghere) became the godmother. Also the parentsfrom the mother Godelieve Breemeersch already died and so her brotherJacobus (1707) who was already 24 years old became godfather of PieterJacobus.
This is the only reasonable explanation that can be found. Fromdifferent birth registrations there can be found that there was astrong family relationship.
