Uit Huw.Spzl.1715-1811 : JONG,Gerrit de,wed Maria van Ginkel geb S,won W, en Jannigje Hoopman,wed Willem Loos,geb Voorthuizen,won S.(vgl.EK 16,blz 34) Bij doop zoon Willem wordt vermeld:a/d Holyvoet onder 't Stigt op de plek van Woudenberg,hier gedoopt.(Spzl).Gerrit gaat na zijn tweede huwelijk rentenieren.

Notes about Gerrith Derksz DE JONG

Gerrit Dirkz de Jongh en Maria van Ginckel verkopen grond(?) aan het echtpaar van Seumeren-Nyenhuis.Uit : Rechterlijke Archieven Spzl.1728-1791.
In 1767 komt hij van Amsterdam en koopt hij het huis de Holevoet.Het is goed mogelijk dat de herberg in verval was geraakt en dat hij hem opnieuw opbouwde.Na de koop gaat hij met zijn gezin in de herberg wonen.In 1768 leent hij F 98,- van Casparius Schultsz,de schout van Maarn en stelt als onderpand "zekere herberg,bestaende uit huizinge en berg,schuur en hof,genaemd den Holevoet";oost:Teunis van Ingen;west Jan Aartzen (ORA W.2347,28-03-1768) Dit is de eerste keer dat de herberg onder deze naam wordt vermeld.In 1790 overlijdt zijn vrouw en een jaar later besluit Gerrit om de herberg na 23 jaar over te doen aan zijn zoon Teunis de Jong.
