Hij wordt op 7-4-741/2, als hij goederen schenkt aan de abdij van St.-Truiden, aangeduid als 'Robertus comes, filius quandam Lantberti'.
Koninklijk gezant naar paus Paulus (757); gestorven voor of in 764.
