Notes about Dirk VAN PERSIJN

Hij is vermeld als borg en getuige van de graaf van Holland (1150-1168). Heer van Waterland en Zeevang, afkomstig van zijn echtgenote. 28-08-1162 Algemeen Rijks Archief Den Haag; verdrag Graaf van Holland Eerste oorkonde van een naam met Persijn. Op die dag was Floris de III in de abdij van Egmond met groot gevolg, en Dirk Persijn werd vermeld als borg en getuige van de Graaf van Holland (Floris de III). Het onrecht, der abdij door 's graven vade r aangedaan, werd weer goed gemaakt; de kerk te Vlaardingen met haar bezittingen en tienden (belastingen) werd haar teruggegeven. Onder de getuigen is ook Theodoricus Persijn, die onmiddelijk na 's graven broeder Robertus tekent. De plaats door Dirck Persijn ingenomen getuigt van hoge rang.
