Dolf Pels was gehuwd met twee zussen van om Lansdaal.. Eerst met Antoinette (Nettie). Die overleed in het ziekenhuis na het tweede kindje. Hij kwam zijn vrouw en kind ophalen en kon alleen de kleine meenemen. Fien heeft hem toen thuis geholpen met de twee kleine kinderen. Hij had ook nog zijn eigen banketbakkerszaak. Van het een kwam het ander en ze hebben samen nog zes kinderen gekregen. (ik heb een jaar bij ze op kamers in Amstelveen gewoond, zodoende). Zijn zus is getrouwd met Henk Lansdaal (1897-1964), een broer van Tom Lansdaal. Een oudtante van hem is mijn overgrootmoeder.


 


Overigens kwam ik er vandaag achter dat haar zwager indertijd opgepakt is wegens landloperij.
