uit de Standaard van zaterdag 25 oktober 1941.
Delft. 24 oct. In juni 1940 was het 40 jaar geleden, dat de heer K. Dam, hoofd van de Dr. Kuyper-school (U.L.O.) alhier zijn loopbaan bij het Geref. Onderwijs begon. In verband met de daaraan voorafgaande Mei-gebeurtenissen is dit feit stilzwijgend voorbijgegaan, doch nu vierde de jubilaris van toen zijn 60sten verjaardag.
Men heeft thans deze gelegenheid aangegrepen om den heer Dam te doen weten hoe zijn arbeid in Delft op prijs gesteld wordt. Zulks geschiedde in de gymzaal der school aan de Huyterstraat, waar de leerlingen en het personeel der school waren samengekomen met schoolbestuur en oudercommissie.
Verschillende toespraken werden gehouden en geschenken aangeboden.
Dank zij de leiding van den heer Dam heeft deze ULO een goeden naam in Delft.
