Profession: landbouwer, eigenerfde te Westernieland, van af 1730/31 op de heerd "de Oever", wedman te Westernieland op 17 mei 1718, landdagcomparant voor Westernieland van 1710 tot 1747; hij gaat vermoedelijk in 1698 van Pieterburen naar Westernieland waar hij 5 mei 1698 een huis koopt bij de Kadijk en 18 febr. 1810 18 ha. land. In 1730/1731 koopt hij de plaats 'den Oever',(een plaats met grachten, singels en stenen poort op de Dam) welke hij incluis 45 ha. land (met zijn 2e vrouw Hindrikje Hindriks) op 20 febr. 1753 verkoopt voor 3500 Carolus. guldens.
