Was issued an Immigrant Identification Card on the 18th of January, 1938 at the American Consulate in Naples, Italy. He departed from Naples on the 19th of January, 1938 travelling 3rd Class to New York. He was inducted into the United States
Army on the 2nd of October, 1942. He was Naturalized as a United States citizen on the 31st of December, 1942. He saw action in the Pacific Theater during WWII as a member of the 306th Infantry, Company D. His military occcupation was a
Machine Gunner. He was involved in the following battles and campaigns: Eastern Mandates, Luzon, Ryukyus, Southern Phillipines. He was issued the following decorations and citations: American Service Medal, Purlple Heart with Oak Leaf
Cluster, Asiatic-Pacific Service Medal with Bronze Arrowhead, Good Conduct Medal, Phillipines Liberation Ribbon with Bronze Star, WWII Victory Medal. He was wounded on the 18th of April, 1945 and again on the 2nd of May 1945. He was
discharged on the 4th of December, 1945.
