Also known as William Dimira/DiMirra or William Demes.

According to his Petition of Citizenshiip, he came to the United States on April 22, 1881, arriving in the port of New York. He also resided in Syracuse, NY., and Freeport, IL before returning to New York. He first filed a Declaration of
Citizenship in Stephenson County, IL, on February 1, 1888. He received his citizenship on October 26, 1904.

He worked for the NYC Dept. of Sanitation from 1897 to 1922.

Buried in Calvary Cemetery - 3rd Calvary, Section 32, Range 8, Plot H, Grave #18. 5 others buried here.
