Hi - just wanted to mention that David's wife Alice Croasdale did not die in Germantown - they never lived there, although it did border Bristol Twp. By deed dated 4mo/Jun 2, 1695, he purchased 150 acres from Samuel Bennet in Bristol Twp, Philadelphia Co which twp is now defunct having been absorbed into the City of Philadelphia by 1854 Act of Consolidation. David Potts purchased an additional 100 acres of land in 1716 in the Manor of Springfield, which is now Montgomery Co, and just above his Bristol Twp lands. They were members of Abington Mtg and any mention of David Potts at Germantown Mtg had only to do with several men (his brother Thomas Potts was one) who were rotating trustees of the land granted for the burial ground there. Thanx! 47345651 :-)
