Is there a possibility that Samuel was born in New Jersey? My great
grandfather, Calvin Simpson, was supposedly a child of Samuel's. My
grandfather, Deward, was the youngest of many children, and didn't know his
father long. All my life I have been told that my great great grandfather
and Hannah Simpson Grant were brother and sister, but I am having trouble
finding Samuel with no info to really start with. I know my great
grandfather was born in Ohio and moved to WV. In the 1900 census he lists
his father as being born in New Jersey and his mother from Pennsylvania.

Any help at all is appreciated.
