Woodville, AL - James F. Cothren, 67, died Friday at his home.

The memorial service will be Monday at 11 a.m. at Laughlin Service Funeral Home chapel with Pastor Merie Landis officiating. Burial will be in Hayden Cemetery.

Mr. Cothren was a Korean War veteran and had worked in law enforcement in Tennessee and Alabama for more than 20 years. He was a member of the Central Seventh Day Adventist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Doris Hayle Cothren; one daughter, Paula D. Cothren; one son, Fred Cothren; one sister, Lyla Marie Ledbetter of Huntsville; four grandchildren and 21 nieces and nephews.
