Notes about Maria Nicola Palmadessa

recorded 03GUN1820, born 31MAY (baptized 04JUN)

At 3 pm on the third of June, 1820, Vincenzo Palmadessa, age 30, a farmer, domiciled in Gruma, appeared before me, Giuseppe Mastrosezio Vindaco, official of the town of Gruma, district of Altamare, Province of the Lands of Bari, and presented us a female child whom we saw with our own eyes. He declared that this child was born of Vincenza Savina, his legal wife, 31 years old, living with him, and him, both residing as described above. This birth occurred 31 May 1820 at midnight in their house.
The baby was named Maria Nicolas (sp?).
On the sixth of June, the Parish informed us that the baby was baptized on June 4 of the current year as Maria Nicolas (sp?) Palmadessa. We have recorded this on page 89 of the volume of documents.

NOTE: I was unable to decipher the profession of the mother and the last letter of the baby’s given second given name. I omitted some of the folderol about when the parish notification was received and redated
