Juda van de Kar was a son of Manus van de Kar and Dientje Metzelaar. He married Naatje Kool in 1907 in Amsterdam. She passed away in 1920. They had three children: the twins Marianne and Dina (who both died shortly after birth) and Isidoor Emanuel. Juda van de Kar remarried in 1921 in Zaandam to Esther de Groot. She passed away in 1939. Juda van de Kar lived in 1941 with his sister Schoontje.
