Gennaro was born in Italy and received his Certificate of Naturalization on December 26, 1918: No.893815-Vol:154 #38167. His father was Pasquale Russo and his mother, whose maiden name was Teresa Palese before marriage which was April 14, 1912 at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Roman Catholic Church. He was a devoted husband and father who was always seen with his family. He was always present when tragedy struck some family member or friend. With his wonderful personality he was always ready to offer condolences and a helping hand; A trait which rubbed off on his three fine sons.
