Mark Douglas Stap died June 8, 2003, at his home in Lynden, Washington. Funeral services were held on Wednesday morning, June 11, at 11:00 AM in the First Christian Reformed Church of Lynden, Washington with Rev. Paul Hansen officiating. He was buried in Lynden Monumenta Cemetery. He died of very aggressive cancer, which he fought for 8 months.
