Notes about Hilvert (Hilbert) Schreuder

While in Michigan, they were in the Polkton (later Coopersville) Reformed Church, and it looks like they were married there sometime before August 1868.
The Coopersville (Polkton Township) Reformed Church membership records say that his membership moved to Kansas, on 30 March 1874. It literally says from Rotterdam to Kansas-30 Mar 1874. Is this referring to Rotterdam Netherlands or Rotterdam (Dispatch) Kansas? Does this mean that Hilvert already was in Rotterdam (Dispatch) Kansas, and that this is when his membership officially was transferred? Regardless, it is pretty clear that the family moved to Dispatch sometime on or before that date.
Based on census records, the family must have moved from Michigan to Kansas between Oct 1873 when Joseph was born and Mar 1875 when Daniel was born.
From 1884 Plat map, Erving Township, Jewell County, KS, they owned the southwest 1/4 of section 30 and were neighbors of Teunis Kuiken who had the northwest section. The Dispatch CRC first met in the homes of Teunis Kuiken and Hilvert Schreuder. It was Teunis Kuiken who donated the northwest corner of his land to the Dispatch CRC for building a church and where the church stands today.

Member of Polkton (Ottawa, Michigan) Reformed Church sometime during 1854-1883. Schreuder, Hilbert and Antje Van Donge.
Member of Coopersville Reformed Church sometime during 1854-1883. Schreuder, Hilvert. Head - From Rotterdam to Kansas-30 Mar 1874.
