DE YOUNG CORNELIUS (NEAL)
Wyoming; Cornelius (Neal) De Young, age 83, of Wyoming was called home to his Lord and Savior on Saturday, May 26, 2012. He is preceded in death by his grandson Calvin Dykstra. He will be dearly missed by his wife of 54 years, Marge (Broersma); his daughter, Kathy Dykstra of Grosse Pointe Woods, and son, Kenric (Renee) De Young of Grand Rapids; his grandchildren, Charles (Carrie), Dana, and William; his great granddaughters, Charlotte and Catherine; his brother, Gordon (Grace) De Young; sister, Helen (Preston) DenBesten. Neal was a veteran of the Korean War, graduated from Calvin College and the University of Michigan and taught for more than 30 years at Kelloggsville and Calvin Christian schools. He was a devoted family man who enjoyed traveling, reading and photography. He was a founding member of Calvary CRC and remained a member until his death.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 am on Thursday at Calvary Christian Reformed Church, 3500 Byron Center Ave. SW, Wyoming, with Dr. Douglas Kamstra officiating. Interment Winchester Cemetery. Relatives and friends may meet the family Wednesday from 5-8 pm at Matthysse-Kuiper-DeGraaf Funeral Home, (Grandville) 4145 Chicago Drive and also from 10-11 am prior to the service at church. Memorial contributions may be made to Crossroad Bible Institute or Calvin Christian School Association. Condolences may be sent online at: www.mkdfuneralhome.com.
