Notes about Catharina Johanna "Trijntje" Lamboo

Catharina Johanna Lamboo (roepnaam: Trijntje) wordt geboren op zaterdag 4 maart 1876 in de Haarlemmermeer. Zij is de oudste uit een gezin van negen kinderen. Haar vader (Cornelis Lamboo) was in 1875 vanuit Beesd (Gld.) naar de nieuwe Haarlemmermeerpolder gekomen om als landbouwer een nieuw bestaan op te bouwen. In november 1890 overlijdt haar vader en nemen haar broers het bedrijf over. Haar moeder (Anna de Rooij) vertrekt in 1906 naar Bennebroek waar ze tot haar dood op zondag 12 oktober 1930 blijft wonen. Trijntje trouwt op woensdag 10 september 1902 in de Haarlemmermeer met Hendrik Anthonie Blom. Kort na dit huwelijk verhuist ze met haar man naar Rotterdam. Ze krijgen daar 9 kinderen (3 dochters en 6 zonen). Ze wonen vanaf 1912 aan de Molensteeg 36 te Rotterdam waar ze een kruidenierszaak hebben. Op 14 mei 1940 wordt de gehele Molensteeg plat gegooid door de Duitsers. Het gezin is op 12 mei 1940 gevlucht naar het huis van zoon Karel aan de Roo Valkstraat 27-a te Rotterdam. Trijntje heeft langdurige beenproblemen (een zogenaamd "open been"). Ze wordt door haar dochters Annie en Gré verzorgd. Kort na de vlucht naar Duitsland, op dolle dindag 6 september 1944, wordt zij ernstig ziek en overlijdt in het Kreiskrankenhaus in Walsrode (Landkreis Fallingbostel) op 4 oktober 1944. Ze wordt begraven op Friedhof Hodenhagen in Hodenhagen (Duitsland).
