Notes about Wilhelmus "Willem" Jurgens

Willem Jurgens vestigt zich in 1799 (met zijn vader, broer en zus) in Oss en is daar handelaar in textiel (1825) en boter (1832). Willem komt in de zaak bij zijn schoonmoeder, breidt de winkelnering uit en neemt de lijnzaadmolen over. De rosoliemolen, dicht bij de kerk, en begonnen door de Van Valkenburgs, blijft nog zeker tot1832 in bedrijf.
Willem gaat na zijn huwelijk wonen in het grote pand van zijn schoonouders, de Van Valkenburgs, oostelijk naast de Grote Kerk, waarachter de rosoliemolen ligt. Hij woont er in ieder geval nog in 1802. Later woont er zijn zoon Johannes Wilhelmus Jurgens.
Hij getuigt 27-03-1809 bij de RK doop van Joanna, dochter van Leonardus Megen en Elisabeth Joannes van Valkenburg.
