Alvaro San Miguel formerly of Roselle for over 50 years The funeral service for Alvaro San Miguel, 85, of Mission, Texas, will begin with prayers at 9 a.m. Thursday, at Countryside Funeral Home, 333 S. Roselle Road (½ mile south of Irving Park Road), Roselle, and proceed to Queen of the Rosary Church in Elk Grove Village for Mass at 10 a.m. Burial will be in St. Michael the Archangel Cemetery, Palatine. Visitation will be from 5 to 9 p.m. today, at the funeral home. Born March 29, 1920, in Mexico, he died Friday, Feb. 24, 2006, in Mission. He was the husband of Cristina San Miguel (nee Casas); father of Denise (Frank) Spina of Mission, Mary (Lupe) Rodriguez of Bartlett, Jayne San Miguel of Itasca, Nanci (Marc) Abrahams of Buffalo Grove, Al (Carla) San Miguel of Marengo, Randy (Sherry) San Miguel of Schaumburg, Grace San Miguel of Marengo and the late Rose San Miguel; loving grandfather of 28; and proud great-grandfather of 19.
