Don Barron (1963-2011)

DENISON - Don Barron, 48, entered into eternal life Saturday, December 31, 2011, at Sherman Healthcare Center.

Mr. Barron was born March 4, 1963, in Denison, the son of Mike and Ruby Lee (Smith) Barron. Don was born with Down Syndrome but was the light of our lives. He was a kind, patient and caring man. Don taught us what life was truly about unconditional love for all. He was a member of Trinity Lighthouse Church. He will be greatly missed by all that knew and loved him.

Mr. Barron is survived by his beloved family: twin brother, Ron Barron and wife Angela of Venus; sister, Loretta Fulce Wooten of Denison, Connie Ulch and husband, Lester of Sherman; brother, Jerry "Deacon" Steward of Sherman, and aunt, Sue Miller of Denison.

Don lovingly referred to his mother's grandchildren as his grandchildren too. So he is survived by 17 grandchildren, 34 great-grandchildren and 21 great-great-grandchildren. Don was preceded in death by his mother, Ruby Lee Steward, brother, Marvin Steward and sister, Carol Stapp.

Funeral services will be held at 1:30 p.m., Wednesday, January 4, 2012, at Trinity Lighthouse Church with Rev. Raymond England officiating. Interment will follow in Fairview Cemetery. Family visitation will be held from 6 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, January 3, 2012, at Fisher Funeral Home.
