Geh., smid, 38 jr.oud, op 25 juli 1855 te Zierikzee met de 24 jarige herbergiersdochter Johanna Beekman, geb.11 apr.1831 te Zierikzee, overl. 4 nov.1922 te Zierikzee, dienstbode. Bijz., Per. 1844/50 bij zijn moeder op C-116 als smid. Dirk wordt hoofd op C-116 als zijn moeder op 24 sep. 1870 overl.; later C-117 Op 21 juli 1868 koopt Dirk Johannes Philippus Jacobi 21/32 gedeelte van huis en smederij nr.B141 van de erven van zijn vader Ferdinandus voor f.656,25.(not.Ermerins) Op 23 sep. 1873 adverteert D.J.Ph. Jacobi, mr.smid en geweermaker in de Korte St.Jansstraat met vuurwerk. Op 25 jan.1877 leent Dirk Jacobi, smid te Zierikzee, f.420,- van Mr. Jakob Moolenburgh op twee woonhuizen en erven in de Korte Sintjanstraat, sectie B-141 en 142 samen groot 272 m2., die volgens Dirk aan hem toebehoren.(JCvdLdC) In 1878, 1882 en 1894 vraagt mr.smid en geweermaker Jacobi een smidsjongen. Beroep in 1855 en 1882 smid, in 1886 geweermaker. Smid op lijst 1877. Zoon Martinus( zie hierna) neemt in April 1897 de smederij, tevens handel in jachtbehoeften over van Johanna Van haar is er dan in de Nieuwsbode: ”Danksegging voor de Gunst en Vertrouwen die haren Echtgenoot gedurende 42 jaren heeft mogen ondervinden.” Zonen: Ferdinand Cornelis, Frederik Adrianes en Hubertus Pieter; Bart, geb.14 oct.1858 te Zierikzee, overl. in Rotterdam op 24 feb.1885, smid, Martinus Theodorus, opvolger, zie aldaar.
