Email from Andrew Wallington (XXXXX@XXXX.XXX)

I had been searching yet again for details of Archie's sister in law.

Archie emigrated to Canada with his brother Clifford Charles and two sisters. Both brothers then enlisted in the Canadian Army and went to France. Clifford had been dismissed from the British navy so it is odd that he should sign up for service again. Perhaps that was a better proposition that working down a coal pit.

Clifford survived, went back to being a miner in Bienfait and married Victoria Clarice Kirton who was many years younger than him. They had a daughter, named Doris but Victoria left them both. Cliff died in 1932 and
Doris was adopted out twice.

Doris had a daughter, Trisha, who I am in contact with and together we have tried to find what happened to Victoria but Canadian rules on confidentiality are very strict and it will be many years before records are open.
Trisha remembers a conversation many years ago that Victoria had another child, so I spend many hours searching for hints. Hence my mail to you.
