Mrs. Bessie Kendall Grimm Fields, 76, of Bearsville, WV, died at her home Monday at 4:30 pm following a prolonged illness. Born at Jones Mill, on April 14, 1885, she was the daughter of Joseph and Sarah McColock Kendall. She was twice married, first to John L. Grimm who died in 1941 and then to George Fields who also preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son, Shirl Grimm, East Liverpool and two daughters, Mrs. Daisy Thomas and Mrs. Opal Bagley, both of Bearsville. She was a member of the Fairview Methodist Church.

Friends were received at the Furbee Funeral Home in Alma where services were held on Friday at 2 pm, the Rev. M. G. Miller officiating. Interment followed in the Fairview Cemetery.
