[Brøderbund WFT Vol. 9, Ed. 1, Tree #2432, Date of Import: Oct 20, 2000] NOLA MAE (CAUTHON) FITCH; Nola Mae Fitch, youngest of eleven children born to Mitchel and Penelope Cauthon, was born near Gerster, Missouri, November 20, 1895, and died July 14, 1965 at the home of her daughter in LaMesa, California. at the age of 69 years, seven months and 24 days. She was converted and joined the Methodist Church at an early age. Her marriage to Samuel J. Fitch occurred April 26, 1921, at Bolivar, Missouri. Two children, Augusta Mae Meador and Samuel J. Fitch Jr. of California,were born to the couple. Her married life was spent in Belton, Missouri and until last August, when she went to California to be with her children. Her husband died November 14, 1961. Survivors are her two children, one step daughter, Gracia Lea Loveall, Kansas City, Kansas, and several nieces and nephews.
