He passed away at Cedar County Memorial Hospital on February 21, 1983 at the age of 85 years, 6 months and 23 days. He was preceeded in death by his parents; two brothers , Albin Keller and Casper Keller; also one sister, Minnie Elliott of Osceola, Missouri. survives. Other surviving relatives include a host of nieces and nephews; a son, Jack Keller; a grandson, Clayton Keller; and a granddaughter, Stevia Keller, all of Springfield, Missouri. He was married on June 2, 1923 to Oma Daugherty Marier of the home. who also survives him. To this union was born the one son, Jack Keller. Bailey was a prominent farmer in the Collins and Weaubleau vicinities untill he moved to El Dorado Springs in 1959. At the time of his retirement in 1962, he was a custodian in the El Dorado Springs public schools. Bailey was a faithful member of the First Christian Church of El Dorado Springs. He attended regularly as long as his health permitted. He will be sadly missed by his family, other relatives, and a host of friends who will always remember him as a loving father, husband, kind and compassionate friend who was always ready to willingly help his fellow man in time of need. Services were held Wednesday, February 23, 1983 at 10:30 a.m. at the Hackleman-Peterman Chapel in El Dorado Springs, Missouri, with Rev. Jack Daniel officiating. Burial was in the El Dorado Springs Cemetery. Music was provided by Ruth Koca and Daisy Dale. Pallbearers were Roy F. Elliott, Gary Morical, Clayton Keller, Virgil Allen, Roy Keller, and Roland Swaim. Honorary pallbearers were; Kenneth Rohr, Moss Francis, Jim Bishop, Fred Elliott, Alvin Francis and Fred Baker.
