Notes about John SHEPHERD

May not be the same John Shepherd who was married to Mary Turner. Large age discrepancy. 1725 Mentioned in his father's will "...Imprimis I give and devise unto my son John Shepherd all and singular my free hold land tenements and herediments whatsoever with every of their rights members appendants and appurten[en]ces which I have or am possessed of in the parish of Pirton aforesaid to hold the same promised with the appurten[en]ces unto the said John Shepherd and to his heirs and or assignes for ever..." 1739 Mentioned in the will of his brother in law, John Hobbs. See Notes for John Hobbs.

    John Sheppard buried
  4. Pirton Marriage Register 1560-1837
There is also a marriage of Elizabeth Ansell and William Turner on 1 January 1728, However it is only 8 months after the marriage with John Shepherd so I doubt if this is the same Elizabeth.
