1861 aged 4, living in Pirton with his parents, George and Louisa Trussell, siblings Elizabeth and Frederick, and uncle Frederick Pearce. 1871 aged 14, living at Offley in the home of his uncle and aunt Annie and David Trussell, to whom he was apprenticed, with his cousins Harry, Ernest, Arthur and Richard. 1880 At the time of his marriage his occupation was that of Baker in Kilburn,Middlesex. 1881 aged 24, he was noted as unmarried, working as a servant - baker in the household of Master Baker George Ashby at 139 Canterbury Road, Willesden, Middlesex. Also living here was Alfred Dunham (18) from Pirton, also baker. 1891 aged 34, living at 10 Malvern Crescent, Willesden with his wife Sarah 34, and children Eva 8, Leonard W 7, Victor H (Herbert) 5, Thomas G (George) 2, Geoffrey 3 months and brother in law, William Catterell 17. Also general servant, Amy Shorter 13 from Marylebone. 1901 aged 44, living at Baker's Shop, Victoria Road, Barking, Essex with his wife, Sarah 44 and children Eva L 18, Leonard 17, Herbert V 14, George T 12, Geoffrey 10 and Harry 8.
