19th April 1725/30 August 1724 6HW79 LAST WILL & TESTAMENT Michael Ansell the Younger Inn the name of God Amen I Michaell Ansell the younger of Pirton in the County of Hartford Husbandman do make this my Last Will and Testament in manor and forme following being ill of body but of perfict mind and memory thanks be to God for it as followeth Imprimis I commit my sole into the hands of Allmighty God my only maker and redeemer hoping to have all my sins pardoned and to bee made partaker of eternall life as for my body I commit itt to the arth & be buried in such seemly sort as my executricks hereafter named shall think fitt; as for my worldly estate which it hath pleased God to blesse me with all I dispose thereof as followeth Imprimis I give and devise unto Elizabeth my Loving wife all my coppy hold land holden of the manor of Pirton by coppy of court roll for the tearme of her naturall life and after her decease to my right heirs forever of which provisos I have made a surrender thereof to the use of my will; Item I give and devise more to my wife Elizabeth all my Goods and Chattles and part and share that I have with my father in my farming stock and all the rest of my Goods and Chattles whatsoever I give and devise to the said Elizabeth my Loving wife whom I do make constitute ordaine and appoint sole executrix of this my last will and testament revoking all former will by me made Inn witnesse whereof I the said Michaell Ansell the younger the testator here have hereunto set my hand and seale to this my last will consoyned in a sheete of paper this thirtieth day of August one thousand seven hundred and twenty four.
