Apparetly Stokesley got too friendly with Robert's wife, and the record indicates he had to pay him off with 20 marcs in 1506/7. 1510, Robert becomes instructor of choristers. 1515, made organist; applies for license to study degree of Bachelor of Music; was asked to compose 1 mass and 1 song before proceeding. He must have obtained his degree, as there used to be a window of St. Peter in the East, depicting him with the inscription, "Robertus Perrot, Baccalaureus Musices".

1529, was a proctor of the Guild of St. George in the church of St. Michael, Oxford. 1534, is receiver-general for archdeaconry of Buckingham & receiver of rents for Christchurch, Oxford.

Alice Perrot, widow of Robert Perrot, buried by [near] her husband, Sept. 1588. Some sources says that his wife was dau. of William John Gardiner and Helen Tudor, others that her father was Robert Gardiner, by his wife Alice Orpewood. Alice was born in Sunningwell, Berkshire and died in 1588 in Oxford. There are conflicting reports as to her death date, ranging from 1 May to 2 Jul. The last 3 children here do not appear on the register, but Barnwell considers their paternity to be based on "good authority".
