John Price was born abt 1750 in Henrico Co, VA. He was the son of John Price (1725-1782) and Sarah Randolph Price (1718-1797).

He was married to Sarah Jane Nelson (1748-1810) in Virginia. She was the daughter of John Nelson (1720-1784) and Sarah (Whitson) Nelson.

John & Sara Price were parents of 9 known children: Fannie, Edmond, John, Henry, Millie, William, Mary, Stephen and Christopher Price.
