IV/104/3/18 - date: 10 December 1867 Contents Freehold of 31 Great George Street, Westminster to her brother-in-law John Thornton, then to his wife Eliza then to their son John. Trustees and executors: Alexander Leslie Melville, John Thornton Junior, Reginald Thornton. Witnesses: Joseph Beadle, Martha Pearson. Dated 30 December 1859. Codicils: 1) Bequest to Reginald Thornton revoked because he has entered business, 13 June 1865. Witnesses as above. 2) Edward Thornton replaces Reginald as executor and trustee, 16 June 1865. Witnesses as above. 3) 6 June 1867. Witnesses as above.
