Frances Dadswell was baptised on 19 November 1812 in Wadhurst. She was the eldest daughter of Robert Dadswell (1784-1852) and 5 91 Ann Kitchenham (1792-1871). She died aged 88 years on 6 July 1901 at 3 Fair View Villas, Crowborough, Rotherfield, Sussex. Her caused of death was senile degeneration of the heart, general anasarca and exhaustion. Her death was registered by her daughter, Hannah Smith, who was of the same address. Frances was buried in Wadhurst on 9 July 1901.
On 19 October 1835, Nicholas and Frances were witnesses to the marriage of Edward Dadswell and Leah Harman, in Rotherfield. When the 1891 census was recorded Nicholas and Frances were living in a House and Shop next door to Whitegates in Wadhurst.
