Anne is thought to be the daughter of a Richard Bennett, and Mary Ann Utie, but there is so much conflicting info that all we know for sure is her maiden name was Bennett.

She married John Goode abt 1668 and known children are Robert, Elizabeth, John, and Joseph. There is believed to be several more children born to the marriage.

In 1681 John and Ann sold a 200 acre portion of Whitby to William Stowers and William Giles (Henrico Co., Deeds and Wills, 1677-92, p. 189).

Her alleged father BENNETT, RICHARD, came to VA. about 1626. Settled in Nansemond Co. House of Burgess and Member of the Council. Governor of VA., 1652-55. Went to England in 1655 to represent the colonists. Married Mary Ann Utle.
