Notes about Joan LATIMER

Her identity is still a matter of contention. While CP states he married Joan, and cites another source which identifies her as a "daughter of [unknown] Sturdon of Winterbourne, Gloucestershire", some researchers, including Mr. Douglas RIchardson, question this, Mr. Richardson stating that he has never found evidence of this Joan's identity as a Sturdon. Some sources have mistakenly identified her as Joan de la Pole, but, in fact, it was this Ralph's son, Ralph, who md Joan de la Pole. Source: www.geneajourney.com
