CHRISTOPHER and HESTER (WYATT-BETTLE) WHITE had issue: 1-Hester White b 25-8-1669 in Stepney, Mddx., mar in 1693 in Salem, N. J., Israel Harrison; 2-Sarah White b 22-5-1672 and d before 1677; 3-Josiah White b 13-7-1675, who d testate in Salem Co., N. J., in 1714, mar in 1698 Hannah Powell; and 4-Joseph White b 5-11-1678 in Salem, N. J. -- This corrects the very careless account of the " Christopher White Family" in Shourds' History and Genealogy of Fenwick's Colony, 1876, pages 308 etc.
