Notes about Joseph Jessup


Joseph resided for some time at Stamford and about 1744 settled at Little Nine Partners, which is now Dutchess County, N.Y. He was loyal to the British Govt and removed to Montreal on the outbreak of the revolution war. He died there in 1788.
