De Vlucht van Egipten.
Een muilezel draagt Maria met het kind in haar armen en geleid door Jozef de meestertimmerman met zaag over zijn schouder op hun "Vlucht naar Egypye" in de tijd van Koning Herodes: Mattheus 2 vers 13-15.
Heraldisch verantwoord is een vlucht naar links en een terugkomst naar rechts uit te beelden.
Deze steen is afkomstig van een huis in de Westerstraat 40 en is vermoedelijk uit omstreeks of kort na de stadsuitleg van 1612.
De foto's zijn van tijdens en na de restauratie door de bekende Gevelsteen restaurateur Wil Abels in 2008.
