Van Kunstschilder Jacob de Wit hangt in de kapel een "Witje", voorstellende een vrouwenfiguur met ciborie en hostie, de symbolisering van het geloof in de Heilige Eucharistie. Volgens een ontwerptekening is het oorspronkelijk gemaakt voor een van de vroegere altaren in de kapel.
In juli 1887 is het schilderij schoongemaakt en gerestaureerd door hr. F.J.A. Vos. Zie artikel dat geschreven is op 29 juli 1887.
